Birth and Beyond of Jamaica Plain is a collective of professionals who focus on women and families in the Child Welcoming Years. The professionals at Birth and Beyond provide midwifery care, perinatal counseling, childbirth education (HypnoBirthing® and Birthing from Within), prenatal/postpartum massage, classes on infant massage, birth and postpartum doula services, general chiropractic care, Reiki Jin Kei Do sessions, craniosacral therapy and individual breastfeeding support. We also offer workshops for VBAC support, birth circles, doula and midwife meet and greets, lactation educator trainings, and ToLabor doula trainings. In our experience working with women and families, we have seen that every journey into parenthood comes with challenges and unexpected events. For this reason, we offer support for miscarriage, still birth, and the loss of a child. We are located in the heart of Jamaica Plain.

The Wellesley Tree House offers classes for New Moms and their Babies such as Bright Start (moms and their babies 1-12 weeks) and Bouncy Babies (moms and their babies 12-20 weeks). Come to meet other new moms and babies and get together weekly to share your experiences, learn time-tested tricks of the trade (such as settling fussy babies, coping with feeding challenges, sleep deprivation, the return - or not - back to work and so much more) as well as songs and activities appropriate for your baby.
